Here's how we managed to turn blackened bananas from the fruit bowl into delicious and, very importantly, healthy snacks for the little ones.

For muffins , we need:

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 150 grams of flour (white, wholemeal or oatmeal)
  • 80 grams of butter
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • Vanilla sugar
  • 70 ml of maple syrup
  • 2 eggs

For homemade ice cream we need:

  • frozen mango and cut into cubes
  • very well cooked banana
  • 2 tablespoons coconut milk, for the texture of the ice cream.

For smoothies we need:

  • berries (raspberries, strawberries)
  • ripe banana
  • a few tablespoons of coconut milk
  • a few tablespoons of oatmeal
  • Chia seeds

I think it only takes a little creativity when it comes to reusing food items in the kitchen. Baked bananas can also be used in the composition of pancakes, in the famous banana bread or placed in slices on a sponge cake - maybe even next to other sweet fruits.

And very ripe bananas are a simple example when it comes to foods that we can process without too much effort. It is amazing, however, in the case of these fruits, how many are the beneficial effects on health.

By doing so, we take small steps to stop food waste. In addition, we know very well that the power of example is very important in the relationship with the little ones. So why not prepare a together raspberry smoothie with bananas and chia seeds?! It is full of protein and calcium, has a great taste and you can consume it on the road if you rush to work.


  • 150 gr. fresh raspberries
  • 1 small banana
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 350 ml. almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 50 ml. the water

Preparation method:

1 Soak the chia seeds together with 50 ml. of water for a few minutes until it swells and hydrates well.

2 Cut the banana into suitable slices and add it to the blender together with the raspberries and a tablespoon of honey.

3 Place the gelatinous chia seeds on top, then add the almond milk and mix continuously for a few seconds.

4 Pour into glasses and serve the delicious raspberry smoothie with bananas and chia seeds with a mint leaf on top for more freshness.

Cheesecake with caramelized bananas, the tastiest recipe

Are you bored of the common desserts and want to try something new, but simple? Use banana recipes every time you want to put your imagination to work.

Ingredient: 250 g of biscuits, 100 g of butter, 50 g of sugar - Countertops

500 g of sweet cheese, 250 g of sugar, 3 tablespoons of flour, 3 eggs, 60 ml of liquid cream, a sachet of vanilla sugar, freshly squeezed orange juice - cream

Mix the sweet cheese with the flour, the caster sugar and the vanilla sugar. Gradually add the eggs, then add the whipped cream and orange juice. Homogenize the composition. Remove the tray from the refrigerator, pour the cream into it and place the container in the preheated oven.

After 20 minutes, check the condition of the dessert and see if it still needs to stay in the oven or not. The cheese should be hard to the touch. Leave the dessert to cool and prepare the decoration for it. After the sugar has caramelized, add the whipped cream and butter. Stir for a few minutes, then add the thickly sliced ​​bananas. Keep it on the heat a little, turning the fruit on all sides, so that they are covered by the caramel sauce. After the composition has thickened, take the bowl off the heat and pour it over the cheesecake.

Who said that only complicated desserts can be delicious? Banana recipes which I have presented above are proof that even the simple ones can be wonderful. Try them too and you will be rewarded with a lot of compliments from your loved ones.

When bananas are very ripe and begin to darken, many people throw them away, but you can use them to make banana cake. Recipe it can be made simple and without nut and chocolate, but the latter give it an extra flavor.

Grease and cover a 24 x 10 cm baking sheet with paper.
